Three Lives Lost in Newest Ukrainian Strike on Russia's Belgorod Area

Three individuals lost their lives and at least nine others were injured in Ukraine's latest attack on the border territory of Russia of Belgorod, according to regional authorities.
The loss of life took place after an attack on the community of Maslova Pristan during Wednesday morning, sources confirmed. Emergency workers were continuing to search for people suspected to be buried under rubble.
For the third day in a row that Ukrainian forces have attacked the territory, leaving thousands of people lacking electricity and at least two other people fatally injured.
Wave of Assaults Cause Damage
A sequence of Wednesday missile and drone strikes destroyed residences, vehicles and energy systems in numerous regions of Belgorod, according to official statements.
Authorities shared images from the village revealing a athletic facility with its building components blown apart, and mentioned that rescue workers were cleaning up rubble and examining the harm.
In the nearby town of Moshchenoye, half a dozen persons - including a child - were injured when a rocket and drone targeted transportation, while a man was hurt when an automobile was struck in Masychevo.
Electrical Failures Affect Thousands
These attacks come after 48 hours of comparable strikes that have caused blackouts and building harm in Belgorod city and adjacent territories.
Nearly 40,000 residents were affected by power cuts across seven municipalities, according to official statements.
