Guarded Hope from Relatives
Dalia Cusnir, whose relative by marriage Eitan Horn remains captive in Gaza, said she experienced as if she were in âin a dreamâ.
âWe are immensely thankful to the President and everything he has done for us. It seems like it might be the beginning of the end of this nightmare, and embracing Eitan feels closer than before,â she commented.
But she cautioned that it remained too early to rejoice.
âBefore the final captive is here, we wonât open the champagne. We will continue struggling... until the end,â she affirmed.
âNumerous events can happen until the last moment so this is why we are extremely cautious. We simply wish to express gratitude to all who was involved in the work and make sure this agreement is done... We will celebrate only once we have the last hostage back home.â
Eitan was captured from Nir Oz kibbutz in southern Israel along with his brother Iair, who was freed from captivity in a ceasefire deal earlier this year.
